Kathryn Cornelius is an artist, writer, business transformation leader & consultant, certified trauma-informed teacher & healer, and founder of two consultancies. She is passionately curious about the human experience at micro and macro levels, and is dedicated to evolving the paradigm of how we work, live, and contribute to the health and healing of humanity and the planet.

ART & WRITING

Her art has been exhibited nationally, and in Spain, Germany, Italy, and Argentia. As an adjunct professor, she taught Media & Culture Studies and Video Art at George Washington University. Kathryn is a published poet, and is writing a memoir based on her experiences living in a nursing home at age 40. She shares occasional musings on the path to Live Whole Human via her newsletter and Substack (coming soon).

Kathryn has over twenty years of professional experience IT & strategy management consulting, working with start-ups, non-profit organizations, Fortune 500 companies, and public sector agencies. Some of her past clients include Honda, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Moët / LVMH, Spotify, Fire Department of New York, Sparks & Honey, DentaQuest, New York Life, Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, and Canada’s Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. She holds professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), User-Centered Design (Human Factors International), Design Thinking (LUMA Institute), and Practitioner-level certifications in ITIL (Service Offerings & Agreements, and Operational Support & Analysis).

Kathryn brings innovative, experiential and visionary wisdom to holding space and guiding clients through complex transformation journeys, whether in the form of a consulting engagement, or a one-on-one coaching session. In 2017 — 2020, she founded and led Whole Human Consulting & Alchemy, an interdisciplinary practice designed to serve organizations and individuals transform how they work and live. It was Kathryn’s second entrepreneurial venture, and first full-time, that offered consulting and leadership coaching based on an interdisciplinary methodology combining design thinking, somatic leadership, customer & employee experience management, and holistic wellness.

Kathryn’s teaching and healing work is rooted in her highly intuitive capabilities, and extensive training & practice in Somatic Experiencing, Transpersonal Psychology, Imago Therapy, Inner Child & Reparenting work, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS “Parts Work”), EMDR, Brainspotting, Buddhism, Vedic Yoga & Meditation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Neuroscience

She holds numerous holistic healing certifications, including Internal Family Systems for Coaching, Reiki Master, 200hr Dharma Yoga Teacher Training, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga Nidra for the Chakras, and Breathwork. Kathryn is forever grateful for her mentor Michelle Sinnette, and previous mentors Josh Korda of DharmaPunx and Brian Jordon of Internal Family Systems Coaching.

EDUCATION

Kathryn is a 2017 graduate of Seth Godin’s altMBA program and holds a Masters Degree in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University, and Bachelor of Arts in English with Honors, and minors in Biology, Art History, and Creative Writing from Ithaca College.

Her 2005 Masters Thesis examined creativity as a market disruptor and the emergence of artists as entrepreneurs.
